On Monday 30th August, in partnership with Wilderness Foundation Africa, Zenande Leadership Consulting will be hosting a special Women’s Month event to celebrate women in biodiversity and conservation.
The event will aim to raise awareness on the issues women across the board face, to empower and encourage women with information to develop their personal leadership skills and to inspire women to continue expressing their full potential within the biodiversity and conservation sector so that women can in their own right continue to make a significant contribution to the attainment of New Deal of People and Nature.
The event is targeted at women leaders across the sector (communities; public sector; NGOs; entrepreneurs; youth) to engage in dialogues aimed at celebrating their efforts and inspiring them to act in unity in moving forward. It will be held in the spirit of sisterhood and will endeavour through dialogue, collective learning and networking to bridge the intergenerational gap and seek to break any other real or imagined obstacles which might militate against women playing their well-deserved roles in the sector and in society in general.
The event will overall be hosted by Pam Yako, a leadership coach, entrepreneur, gender activist and Managing Director of Zenande Leadership Consulting, in partnership with Wilderness Foundation Africa.
Please join us on the 30th of August 2021 @ 09:00-13:00. The event will be streamed and broadcast on social media so that more women can also benefit from its proceedings and a video recording of the day will also be made available.
