Wilderness trail

The team embarked on a wilderness trail, facilitated Wilderness Leadership School, which took place over 5 days at the Hluhluwe iMfolozi Game Reserve.

Here they spent time discussing conservation and the rhino poaching crisis in more detail, and developed plans for implementation on their return home.

Immersed in the wilderness, the trail offered a powerful opportunity for reflection and reconnection – not only with nature, but also with a shared sense of responsibility and purpose.

The silence of the bush, the closeness to wildlife, and the shared campfire conversations inspired a renewed commitment to protecting our planet’s biodiversity, and reminded us all of the profound impact nature has on the human spirit.
